Master Yang's World Class Tae Kwon Do | 2021 Kauffman Loop (HEB area) in Liberty Hill. It provides martial arts training for both children and adults. This is its third area location.[16]

Marble Falls

Fresh Fuel Nutrition | 908 3rd St. Unit A, Marble Falls opened its second location in downtown Marble Falls with a grand opening on Saturday, March 7. The menu includes smoothies, smoothie bowls, protein shakes, coffee, and snacks. [13]

Buchanan Dam

Fuzzy’s Corner Bar | 15224 E State Hwy 29. An iconic, historic local dive bar located at the famed "Fuzzy's Corner" intersection, originally dating back to the 1950s. Fuzzy's Corner permanently closed its doors on February 27, 2026.

Lampasas

Eve’s Cafe | 521 E 3rd St. A highly-rated German cafe situated right on the Lampasas town square, known for its authentic schnitzels, bratwurst, and cheesecakes. It closes March 29th.

Llano

Curb Service | 900 W. Young St. A drive through Llano beer barn. The owners cited various reasons, mostly medical for its closing. Its last day is March 31st.

Marble Falls

Adele’s | 112 US-281. An upscale restaurant and lounge that served elevated American fare. They offered craft cocktails, a curated wine list, and weekend live music on a beautiful Hill Country patio. It closed March 22nd until further notice.

Bear King Brewing Company | 207 Avenue G. A massive, popular craft brewery and taproom that served house-made beers, tacos, and burgers in downtown Marble Falls. Bear King Brewing officially closed its doors at this location effective March 7, 2026, citing economic challenges.

Wingman Brothers Smokehouse | 2407 N US Hwy 281. A local staple that served up authentic Hill Country barbecue, brisket, and sides for nearly a decade. Due to the rising costs of operating a restaurant, ownership announced that Wingman Brothers Smokehouse is permanently closing on March 28, 2026.

Burnet

The Crossings at 281 Hotel |The Burnet EDC has been finalizing a performance agreement to incentivize a new $13 million, 87-room hotel development at "The Crossings at 281."

HTeaO & Sunset Ridge | The EDC recently finalized performance grants totaling over $300,000 to help bring a new HTeaO storefront to the old Burger King site on Hwy. 281, as well as support the continued development of the Sunset Ridge affordable housing complex at 310 E. Third Street (slated for late 2027).

New Convenience Store | North corner of County Road 108 and North Water Street. In March 2026, the City Council and planning commission approved a Light Commercial (C-1) rezoning request to allow for the development of a new convenience store (without gas sales) on a 5.8-acre undeveloped property near the high school. This property had previously been zoned as agricultural.

Liberty Hill

La Tequila Jalisco | 13850 State Hwy. 29, Liberty Hill: Final inspections are underway for a targeted mid-March opening at 13850 Hwy 29. While it hasn’t opened yet; it is on the cusp of opening.

Several other Liberty Hill businesses were flagged as notable upcoming projects, including Popeyes (13101 Hwy. 29), Bojangles (13003 W SH 29), Sai House of Desi (75 Seward Junction Loop), T Liquor (2021 Kauffman Loop),[16] Hopdaddy Burger Bar (19389 Ronald Reagan Blvd., Ste. 100), and Target (US 183 and State Hwy 29)

Lampasas

The Retreat on the Creek | Pecan St., Lampasas. A fitness studio opening summer 2026. By winter 2026, it will have added an event venue and Clean Eats.

Marble Falls

The Ophelia Hotel & Conference Center | Corner of Main and Yett streets. The MFEDC continues to heavily back this massive 127-room, 96,000-square-foot boutique hotel.It remains on track for an October 2026 opening

Falls Creek Park Expansion | 900 Yett St. To support the expected influx of traffic from The Ophelia and downtown growth, the MFEDC recently funded a $472,000 parking and infrastructure expansion at 900 Yett St. Construction officially kicked off recently and is moving forward through the spring.
