This weekend's events (May 8-10) in the Highland Lakes region are anchored by the 60th annual Burnet County Rodeo and Granite Shoals’ Granite Fest. Mother's Day weekend brings a wave of brunches, markets and special concerts stretching from Marble Falls and Burnet to Llano and Kingsland. If you're craving adventure, Saturday is loaded with ranger-led hikes, archery lessons, e-bike explorations and night hikes at parks across the region. Looking ahead to the week’s end (May 15-16), the excitement continues with the Burnet’s Jackson Street Jam and Liberty Hill’s Whimsy and Wonder festival.
