Spring break is in full swing across the Highland Lakes this week, and there's no shortage of ways to celebrate. The Jackson Street Jam featuring Moe Bandy kicks off in downtown Burnet on Saturday, the 34th Annual Bluebonnet Airshow soars over the Burnet Municipal Airport on March 21, and Round Mountain Cider Mill hosts a St. Paddy's blowout followed by back-to-back concerts from Bun B to Ted Nugent. Libraries across the region — from Marble Falls and Burnet to Spicewood, Bertram, and Liberty Hill — are packed with spring break programming for kids and families. Add in guided hikes, cave tours at Longhorn Cavern, trivia nights, and a bass tournament on Lake LBJ, and you've got a week worth planning around.
