Bluebonnets are in bloom across the Highland Lakes, and the event calendar is packed with festivities celebrating the season. On Saturday, March 21, the 34th Annual Bluebonnet Airshow roars into Burnet, while wildflower lovers can celebrate at BLUEM 2026 in Spicewood. Later in the week, Llano's beloved Earth Art Fest (LEAF) returns to the riverbank for a weekend of land art and live music from March 27–29. Add in rock legends and country powerhouses at Round Mountain Cider Mill, tribute bands at Brass Hall, Holy Week observances, plus farmers markets and karaoke across the region—and you've got one packed week ahead.

This week's lineup proves the Spring season has arrived in the Highland Lakes. The skies over Burnet roar to life at the 34th Annual Bluebonnet Airshow on Saturday, while artists from around the world descend on Llano for the LEAF Earth Art Fest starting Friday. Round Mountain Cider Mill delivers three big nights — from Bun B to Ted Nugent to Stoney LaRue — and Brass Hall in Marble Falls keeps the live music rolling all week. Add in wildflower viewing at BLUEM in Spicewood, guided hikes at state parks, poker nights, karaoke, and more, and you've got no shortage of reasons to get out and enjoy the Hill Country.
